The Citizens Committee for the Camp Verde Library is sponsoring the fifth holiday wreath and gingerbread contest.  We are asking local individuals, groups, businesses, and schools (by class or grade) to submit entries for this competition.  The entries will be on display downtown and the wreaths sold by silent auction and the gingerbread items by raffle, with the library construction fund as the beneficiary of both.

Location: Wingfield Plaza, 564 Main St., Camp Verde

Entry drop offs from 2-6 PM on Wednesday, December 7th. Late submissions on Saturday morning.
 

Ticketed Wine & Appetizer Reception:  Friday, December 9th, 7-9 PM. $15. Offerings and tastings from The Horn Saloon, Orion Bread Company, and the Verde Valley Olive Oil Traders.

Silent Auction & Raffle: Saturday, December 10th,  2011. Contest winners to be announced after the Parade of Lights (approximately 6:30 PM).

What can you make a wreath of? Old recycled wreaths, new foam or artificial pine forms from craft shops, barbed wire, twigs and tree branches. If circles don’t inspire you, a seasonal wall hanging is eligible.
